Invest in Your People.
We’ll Secure the Grants.

Thousands of business grants are out there, waiting for you to apply for funding. But navigating the state and federal funding process is usually a one-way ticket to paperwork hell.

BOSS provides the operational engine that turns workforce training into a compliant, reimbursed investment. We bridge the gap between you and the workforce development boards (WBDs): you receive grant awards that build a high-performing team and the workforce development board is assured of compliance and accountability.

The BOSS Grant IQ™: A 5-Step Operational Engine

We don’t simply find you a grant and wish you luck. We build the infrastructure that allows funding to be approved, tracked, and reimbursed without disrupting your operations.

Here’s how we do it:

1

Identify Grant Opportunities

BOSS researches and identifies the most relevant grant programs based on your company’s NAICS code, workforce, and operations.

We prioritize programs where eligibility, documentation requirements, and reimbursement mechanics align with how your business actually operates, maximizing probability of approval.

2

Establish Relationships with Grant Authorities

We proactively coordinate with the appropriate workforce development boards to confirm eligibility, participation requirements, and submission standards. We speak the language of the funding source and ensure your organization is approved to participate.

3

Develop Customized SOPs and Documentation

BOSS works directly with your internal staff to create customized operating procedures (SOPs) and internal documentation needed to stay compliant and successfully qualify for funding. Rather than forcing new systems, we design lightweight SOPs that integrate into your existing workflows so compliance happens naturally, not manually.

4

Monitor and Support Ongoing Activity

As employees reach the required participation thresholds (typically 10 weeks / ~400 hours), BOSS:

  • Tracks qualifying activity
  • Communicates directly with the workforce development board
  • Manages required data entry, documentation, and verification

This removes the administrative burden that typically causes businesses to abandon grant programs midstream.

5

Secure the Grant Funding

Once approved, we coordinate follow-through with the workforce development boards to ensure reimbursement is released. While timing can vary by workforce development board, reimbursements are typically delivered within 2 to 4 weeks after participation thresholds are met and documentation is accepted.

An Operational Advantage for Your HR Team

Managing a grant is a specialized, detail-heavy job that distracts your best people from high-level strategy. By plugging the BOSS Grant IQ into your organization, your HR team gains a dedicated grant-operations layer without adding headcount.

They remain the internal champions of the program, and we handle the portals, reporting requirements, and grant-specific coordination that usually makes this process unsustainable internally.

Why Grant Authorities Prefer BOSS Clients

When workforce development boards (WBDs) look at a BOSS client, they see professional reporting, meticulous tracking, and a genuine investment in employee skills.

By maintaining high standards of integrity, documentation quality, and audit readiness, we reduce friction for funding sources, making it easier for your business to remain eligible year after year.

No-Risk Partnership

In a volatile economy, the last thing you need is more overhead. BOSS removes that risk:

  • $0 Onboarding Fee: We waive the standard $10,000 setup cost for all new partners.
  • $0 Monthly Support Fees: We waive the $2,000/month management fee.
  • Success-Based Results: We’re compensated only when grant funding is awarded and reimbursed.

If funding isn’t secured, you owe nothing.

Is Your Business a Fit?

Whether you’re in construction or a specialized service industry, if you’re training people, chances are good you’re leaving grant capital on the table.

Our requirements are simple:

  • One internal point of contact
  • Approximately up to 5 hours per week for the first 90 days to establish compliance infrastructure

After that, your ongoing weekly time investment is typically no more than 2-3 hours per week, at most.
